Description
Hexagonal boron nitride powder has high-temperature resistance, high thermal conductivity, and chemical inertness. This characteristic of boron nitride makes it in the field of high-temperature processes, such as glass processing or metallurgical casting, molding, and other industries with exceptional performance. Boron nitride, a ceramic material, may be used as a powder, suspension, or paste, depending on the application.
Boron nitride powder does not burn easily and will not be ignited at high temperatures, so the surface of the workpiece is clean and tidy. Therefore, boron nitride lubricants have become a substitute for traditional oil-based release agents and lubricants. Water-based boron nitride coatings are used as protective coatings in high vacuum aluminum metallization systems, as well as release agents and protective coatings in galvanizing plants.
Boron nitride coating provides electrical insulation and high-temperature resistance up to 900℃ in air, 1400℃ in a vacuum, and 2000℃ in inert gas.
Boron nitride has strong chemical stability and is not wet with molten metal, which can promote the sliding of liquid light metals such as liquid aluminum, protect the casting tank and water tank from corrosion, and extend the service life of all parts in contact with liquid metal. Hexagonal boron nitride is not wetted by liquid metals and does not adhere to all types of substrates.
