1. High-Efficiency Thermal Management and Electrical Insulation
Thermal Conductivity: Hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN) offers a thermal conductivity of 40–60 W/m·K, enabling rapid heat transfer to reduce thermal accumulation in high-power LED chips and driver circuits.
Electrical Insulation: Maintains high electrical resistivity (>10¹² Ω·cm) even at elevated temperatures, preventing short circuits or leakage risks associated with thermally conductive materials.

BN coatings remain structurally stable at high temperatures and do not react with molten glass or metals, extending mold service life and improving product yield rates.
4. Optical and Surface Protection
In high-energy light sources such as UV lamps, deep-UV (DUV) LEDs, and laser lighting, BN coatings can protect metal and ceramic components from oxidation, corrosion, or microcracking caused by prolonged high-energy irradiation.
Applying BN coatings to internal reflector components helps reduce optical efficiency degradation and maintain long-term performance stability.
