Description

Boron nitride ceramics are made of boron nitride powder after being pressed and sintered into boron nitride blocks at high temperatures and then processed according to the size and specifications required by customers.

The structure of boron nitride is similar to that of graphite, belonging to the sheet hexagonal structure, also known as white graphite. Boron nitride has good electrical insulation, thermal conductivity, excellent thermal shock resistance and chemical stability, good moisture resistance to molten metal, slag, and glass.

Boron nitride ceramics have excellent high-temperature resistance, and will not change at 2100°C under the protection of inert gas such as nitrogen and 1800°C in a vacuum environment. In addition, boron nitride has strong chemical stability. Boron nitride ceramics do not react with most metals, ceramics, rare earth, and other materials, and do not adhere.

Typical application fields of boron nitride ceramics: high-temperature electric furnace parts (high-temperature insulation sleeve, etc.), metal evaporation crucible, molten metal or glass with a variety of devices, precious metal or special alloy casting mold parts, high-temperature support, and other stress parts, molten metal transport pipe, nozzle, etc.

The Mohs hardness of boron nitride ceramics is very low, and the material is light, soft, and easy to process. The boron nitride block has good machining performance and can be processed into various parts according to customer requirements.(as following picture shows)
