Boron nitride is extremely resistant to high temperatures. It can withstand 1800℃ in a vacuum environment and up to 2000℃ under the protection of inert gases. It also has excellent thermal shock resistance and does not crack when heated up rapidly. Not only that, after 2 hours of insulation at 1000℃, it will not crack after repeated cooling and heating for hundreds of times.

Boron nitride ceramics have strong chemical stability and do not react or bond with metal materials, such as ferrous metal, iron, copper, stainless steel, aluminum, glass melt, silicon molten salt, etc. The boron nitride crucible made of boron nitride is even more suitable than the traditional graphite crucible for its high temperature sintering melting container.

Usage note:


  • Boron nitride is used in air at temperatures up to 1000℃ above which oxidative decomposition may occur.

  • Boron nitride is easy to absorb moisture, boron nitride crucible can not be stored in a humid place, should be placed in a dry and ventilated place sealed preservation.

  • Boron nitride crucible can not be washed with water, can be sandpaper wipe.
