Application Of Boron Nitride Demoulding Agent in Demoulding Glass Mould

With the rapid development of wine, food and beverage industries in China, the demand for all kinds of packaging glass bottles and cans increases. Determinant bottle-making machine has become the mainstream of glass bottle production, and the running speed of determinant bottle-making machine is faster and faster, and the requirements of glass mould lubrication release agent are higher and higher. The traditional method of glass mould lubrication and demoulding is manual smearing or mechanical spraying animal and plant grease, which generally has poor effect.

Using boron nitride lubrication material, the effect of stripping lubrication is obviously improved. At present, the most widely used boron nitride release agent is mainly divided into the following three categories:

One is water as the medium, adding high temperature adhesives and other additives, made of water-based lubricant, one-time coating on the surface of the mold, drying into a film after use.

The other is oil as the medium, adding additives, made of oily lubricant, continuous brushing or spraying in the operation of the determinant bottle-making machine.

A commonly used boron nitride release agent is to use boron nitride coated with high viscosity mineral oil, emulsifying agent under the action of water to make emulsion oil type glass mold lubrication release agent. When boron nitride: grease: water =1∶4∶10 and emulsifier dosage is 7wt%, the emulsified oil release agent has good stability, good release performance, thin film and uniform distribution. The use of boron nitride lubrication release agent can improve the yield of bottle making, reduce the consumption of lubrication release agent and purify the production environment.

Boron nitride release agent can also be used in plate glass processing, which can greatly improve the working environment and improve product efficiency. Especially for bending glass processing effect is more significant.
